Swaddled Baby Girl (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

And the Baby Boom continues!  Oh my gosh...our family has grown in the past week, as I am thrilled to announce that I have become both an Aunt and Great Aunt!  This Baby Boom Release could not have been timed better! Congrats to both families and welcome baby Ryan and baby Olivia...

I have another card to share with you using a new image, new sentiment and also using this month's sketch design. Just a warning, using this sketch can become so fun that it's addictive!  Hope you can join in on the fun too (see below for more details).

This is Swaddled Baby Girl (RR005) and It's A Girl sentiment (HH025).  Such a sweet baby and the font of the sentiment with a couple of hearts is soooo cute!

To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, the image was cut using a Spellbinder Circle Die and Lacey Circle Die for layering it.

For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Certainly Celery cardstock and the layering piece is SU Pretty in Pink cardstock.  The designer paper is from Echo Park-Bundle of Joy New Addition 6x6 Paper Pad.  Foam tape was applied to the main image to help make it pop out a bit and add some dimension.  The sentiment was heat embossed with SU Gumball Green embossing powder.  To complete this card, a couple of mini pink diaper pins were adhered using glue dots and some Nuvo Crystal Drops-Apple Green were created in the shape of enamel dots (using wax paper).  Once these dots had dried, they were removed from the wax paper and glued on to the card using some Ranger-multi medium matte.
