Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the January Challenge - "Anything Goes" can be found here

As promised, I have another birthday card to hopefully inspire you today!

This is Party Cow (S114), party hat, and Celebrate (E052) sentiment.  This Party Cow stamp is just sooo adorable!  I think this birthday card will be perfect for my dad (who is a dairy farmer), and has a birthday coming up next month.   However, this card could be used for a variety of occasions other than just a birthday.

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I fussy cut the cow.  I also coloured the party hat stamp and fussy cut it out too.

The barbed wire fence die is from MFT, using brown and grey cardstock.  I wanted to have party cow in a pasture-like setting, just dancing around!  That's probably not something you see everyday!!!  SU Basic Black Cardstock was used for the card base.  The designer paper is from Doodlebug-Goal 6x6 paper pad.  The party hat was glued to the cow's head, then foam tape was used under the entire image to give it some dimension.  For the sentiment, it was stamped with a versamark ink pad then heat embossed using black embossing powder.  To complete this card, a bunch of YNS-Glitter Black Gumdrops were added on the top right and bottom left corners.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 491, N60, N15, N35, N55, 942, 761, 277, 126, 133 and 800.  Versamark Ink Pad and Black Embossing Powder.

PaperDoodlebug - Goal 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Soft Suede, Going Grey, Black & White Cardstock.

Bob Loves His Tractor-Sliding Tag Card (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
Come join our NEW monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the January Challenge - "Anything Goes" can be found here

Every year I seem to need lots of birthday cards!  So for the next few posts, I think I may be focusing on some!  This one is needed for a close friend - who loves his John Deere tractors and farms land in the same area that we do.

This picture shows the tag pulled out from behind the image.

This is Bob Loves His Tractor (U508) and Dot Happy Birthday to You Sentiment (F065).  I just LOVE this stamp.  I am always on the look out for farm-related stamps, as the people whom I make some cards for, seem to be in the business of farming!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to Bob's sunglasses and headlights on the tractor.  The Pioneer Logo on Bob's hat was cut from my hubby's business card.  The John Deere logo/decals on the tractor are Rub-ons.

The image was die cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die.  The background - Reminisce Farm Life DP was also die cut using the next size up of the Stitched Rectangle Die in the set.  SU Garden Green cardstock was used for the card base.  The main image was layered with SU Chocolate Chip cardstock then foam taped to the DP layer, with leaving an area to slide the tag in and out, free from any tape.

The tag was cut using SU Chocolate Chip cardstock and a MFT Stitched Tag Die.  I cut two tags so  the tractor ribbon (sent to me by fellow Diva - Natalie!!! Thank you!) could be sandwiched in between the tags and to strengthen the tag, beings it would be pulled in and out of the card.  The sentiment was stamped then heat embossed using yellow embossing powder.  To dress this card up a bit, a John Deere brad and three YNS-Neon Sunrise Gumdrops were added.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 491, N60, 245, 055, N15, N35, N55, N75, N95, 885, 992, 977, 942, 850, and 800.  Versamark Ink Pad, Yellow (Ranger) and Black Embossing Powder.

Paper - My Mind's Eye - On the Bright Side 6x6 Paper Pad - for Bob's Jeans; SU Chocolate Chip, Garden Green & White Cardstock, and Reminisce Signature Series - Farm Life DP.

Misc - Glossy Accents, Stitched Rectangle Dies, MFT - Stitched Tag Die, Creative Imaginations - John Deere Rub-ons (for the John Deere logo/decals on the tractor), Creative Imaginations - John Deere Brad, Hubby's Business Card for the Pioneer Logo on Bob's hat, tweezers, Tractor Ribbon - from fellow Diva-Natalie, YNS-Neon Sunrise Gumdrops, Sponge dauber, Water Brush, Foam Tape, and Glue Dots.
