For today's post, I made a circle flip card using stamps from the new release - Joys of the Seasons!

 Inside of card...

This is Snowy Love (RR003), Think Snow 2 Sentiment (HH006), and Seasons Greetings Sentiment.  This is an adorable and fun image to colour!  The image circle flips to the reverse side when you open or pull the right side of the card to the right. How awesome is that???

I coloured the image with Tombow Markers and Water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to Snowy's nose.  A Zig-Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen was used on Snowy's hat and pompom for a little more sparkle.  The circles were punched using a 2 1/2" circle punch for both the image and the sentiment on the reverse side.  The designer paper is from Echo Park-'Tis the Season 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU black and red cardstock.  For a little added touch, a SU snowflake punch was used to punch the snowflake with a piece of white shimmery cardstock.  Xmas Red Stickles was applied to the centre and ends of the snowflake to match the red glittery tape ribbon.  The 'Tis the Season Glitter Tape is from Recollections.  A red rhinestone was added to the snow in the "Think Snow" sentiment as a finishing touch, to complete this card design.

Supplies Used:

Polar Hug (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Here's a holiday card I would like to share with you today.  It's never too soon to start making your Christmas cards!

This is Polar Hug (SS001) and From All of Us Sentiment (HH004). This image is sooo adorable!!!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to the Polar Bear's nose and Penguin's beak and feet.  Diamond Stickles was applied on the fur of the Penguin's hat and pompom.  The image was then fussy cut out.  The sentiment was done with a technique that is fairly new to me.  This was my second attempt at experimenting with it.  First, I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of paper and photocopied it onto white cardstock using my office laser printer. Then I ran the photocopied cardstock through my "antique" office laminator using Heidi Swapp's - minc gold reactive foil (shiny side up).  I just love the finished look of this technique; however, it is rather difficult to get a good photograph when using the reactive foil.  The shine of the foil looks amazing when the card is tilted!

The pattern paper is from Bo Bunny-Sleigh Ride 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some Kraft and White Cardstock.  Gold Mirra Cardstock was used to layer the sentiment.  The "happy holiday" ribbon is from May Arts, along with a couple of gold tree brads that were added to it.  Foam tape was used under the image to add some dimension.  To complete this card, a few gold coloured rhinestones were applied on the left side of the card, and three just below the sentiment.

Supplies Used:

Ink - Tombow Markers - N79, N15, N35, 925, 985, 942, and 977.  Versamark Ink Pad and  Black Embossing Powder.

Paper - Bo Bunny-Sleigh Ride 6x6 Paper Pad, Gold Mirra Cardstock, and SU Kraft and White Cardstock.

Misc - Glossy AccentsDiamond Stickles, May Arts-Ribbon, Heidi Swapp- Minc Gold Reactive Foil, Laser Printer, Laminator, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circle punches, Gold Tree Brads, Gold Rhinestones, Water BrushFoam Tape, and Glue Dots.
