Cute Birdy - Treat Bag (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the January Challenge - "Anything Goes" can be found here

For today's post, I thought I would make something a little different, yet keeping with a birthday theme...

This is Cute Birdy (F250) and Bird Told Me (F251) sentiment.  I think this Birdy is just sooo adorable and works well for so many different projects!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I applied some Glossy Accents to Birdy's beak.

The main image was fussy cut out.  A YNS die called Scalloped Topped Treat Bag was used to create the small bag using SU Pacific Point Cardstock.  The designer paper is from Doodlebug-Springtime 6x6 paper pad.  For the sentiment, it was stamped with a versamark ink pad then heat embossed using black embossing powder on SU Apricot Appeal cardstock.  To complete this project, Doodlebug twine was tied in a bow around the top of the flap, and a small piece of Hook and Loop tab (a thin velcro, adhesive-backed tab) was placed under the flap, to easily open and close the treat bag.
