Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
The NEW Baby Boom Release arrived yesterday! We are sooo excited to have these new, and oh so adorable images available now... This month, High Hopes is offering a new and another way to enter our contest using a Sketch Challenge (see below for more details). Here's a card that I am thrilled to share with you, using a new image, new sentiment and also using this month's Sketch design!
This is Baby Giraffe (SS018) and New Addition sentiment (HH022). It doesn't get much cuter than this!
To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it. To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used. After the colouring was finished and dry, Glossy Accents were added on the hearts of the baby giraffe for some shine and dimension. The image and layering piece were die cut using Spellbinders-Petite Oval dies.
For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Very Vanilla cardstock and the layering piece is SU So Saffron cardstock. The designer paper is from Carta Bella-it's a boy collection 6x6 Paper Pad. The green designer paper was dry embossed using an older Cuttlebug Embossing Folder called Swiss Dots. The banners and hearts were die cut using SU Very Vanilla cardstock with the Memory Box-Banner Parade die set. Two strips of ribbon were added - SU Certainly Celery and Vanilla to follow the Sketch design. Foam tape was applied to the main image to help make it pop out a bit and add some dimension. To complete this card, the sentiment was heat embossed with SU Vanilla Embossing Powder and foam tape was also used to adhere it.
