Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
TGIF!!! Well, another week has come and gone and I am back to share another fabulous image from the New Release - Spring 2016 Collection.
This is With Deepest Sympathy (UU002). This stamp is perfect beings it also includes the sentiment along with it. This can be easily changed too, with a variety of other sentiments that High Hopes has available. You may want to turn this card into a Thinking of You or Get Well Soon card, by not inking up this sentiment and using your Misti Stamping Tool to stamp a different one.
To start, I used a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it. To colour the image, Tombow Markers and water were used. I decided on a piece of SU Night of Navy cardstock for the card base. The designer paper is from Bo Bunny-Secret Garden Collection 6x6 paper pad. A piece of SU Always Artichoke cardstock was used to layer the main image and a strip for under the ribbon. The image was adhered to the card with foam tape for some added dimension. A white sheer ribbon was placed over the thin piece of Artichoke cardstock and a small bow was tied. To complete this card, some pearls were added to the flower centres and a few on the ribbon. It's always nice to have a few of these Sympathy cards made ahead, for those unfortunate times when you least expect it and need one quickly.
