Christmas in July - Santa Portrait (Created by Lisa Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
Happy Saturday Friends! I sure hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend on both sides of the border!

This month we are showcasing some "Christmas in July" projects over at High Hopes.  So without further delay, here is my first Christmas card for this year...It's always nice to be ahead of the game and ready for the jolly fella's visit!

This is Santa Portrait (Q200), along with Christmas Joy sentiment (G115).  Such a cute Santa!
The image was stamped on Xpress It cardstock with a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad using my Misti Stamping Tool.  The image was coloured with Copic Markers.
For the card base, I chose some SU Night of Navy cardstock.  The designer paper is from Carta Bella - Warm & Cozy 6x6 Paper Pad.  Foam tape was used on this card to "pop" Santa out!   A piece of gingham ribbon was added behind the main image.  The sentiment was stamped with a versamark ink pad and heat embossed using black embossing powder.
To complete this card, 3 white YNS gumdrops were added on top of the ribbon and Ranger-Ice Stickles (Crystal Ice) was used on the fur of Santa's hat to add a finishing touch to this simple, yet adorable Christmas card.
Supplies Used:
InkCopic Markers -  B37, B26, E01, E31, T1 and T2; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, Versamark Ink Pad and Black Embossing Powder.
Paper - Carta Bella - Warm & Cozy 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Night of Navy Cardstock; Xpress It Cardstock.
MiscMisti Stamping Tool, Gingham ribbon (stash), YNS - White Gumdrops, Ranger-Ice Stickles (Crystal Ice), Foam Tape and Glue Dots.
