Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

 

Happy Saturday Friends! I hope everyone is enjoying some of this very hot weather we are finally getting here!

Today, I am thrilled to share another one of my cards using a stamp and SVG files from the New Release - Spring 2016 Collection.

 

This is Fragrant Blooms (TT040) and Fragrant Blooms SVG file-point 7 & 14 (TT040SVG).  What a sweet image...and I am starting to think our flowers could use a drink too with all this warm and dry weather!

 

I started by using my Cricut machine and cut the point 7 size of the SVG Fragrant Blooms file on Xpress It cardstock.  The image was then stamped with a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad using my Misti Stamping Tool to ensure accuracy for the placement of the image inside the cut out portion of my cardstock. The image was then coloured with Copic Markers.  After the image was all coloured and dry, a Zig-Wink of Stella yellow glitter pen was added to the centre of the flower and a Zig-Wink of Stella clear glitter pen was applied on the flowers and butterfly for some sparkle.  A very tiny bit of Glossy Accents were used on the droplets of water(from the watering can) and on the little frog's eyes.

 

For the card base, I chose some SU Black cardstock.  The designer paper is from American Crafts-Journey 6x6 Paper Pad.  No foam tape was used on this card, so it will be fairly flat for mailing purposes.  The SVG File for Fragrant Blooms - size 14 (for layering) was also cut and adhered to the back of the image using black cardstock to "pop" the image a bit more.  To complete this card, SU Black Ribbon was added below the main image with a bow tied in the centre.  Some silver rhinestones were also applied on the photo corners and ribbon as well. 

 

Supplies Used:

Ink - Copic Markers - G21, G46, R29, R32, RV14, E01, E25, E31, E79, T3, T5, B21, B23, Y08, 100 and 0 (colorless blender).  Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.
 

Paper - American Crafts-Journey 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Black Cardstock; Xpress It Cardstock.
 

Misc - Misti Stamping Tool, Cricut Personal Cutter, Zig-Wing of Stella Yellow Glitter pen, Zig-Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen, SU Black Taffeta Ribbon, SU photo corner punch, Glossy Accents, Silver Rhinestones and Glue Dots.
