This is Wasn't Me! (TT013) and Sm. Christmas Script Sentiment (F051).  Such a fun and adorable image!!!  Somehow, I could actually see this happening...lol!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I applied some Glossy Accents to the ornaments, mouse, kitty's hair bow, and tree stand.

The image was trimmed down to size and some grey ink was sponged on the edges.  The pattern paper is from Simple Stories-December Documented 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some grey and white cardstock.  A piece of SU white glittery ribbon was glued across the middle of the card to separate the different patterned papers.  The sentiment was embossed with silver embossing powder, then die cut using a banner die from Taylored Expressions.  Foam tape was applied to raise the main image, to add a bit of dimension.  To complete this card, a few YNS Gumdrops-White Sugar were added to the bottom right corner.

Happy Mail (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the November Challenge can be found here.  The challenge runs through November 30th.  So don't delay!

For all you Black Friday/Cyber Monday Shoppers, be sure to stop by the High Hopes Stamps Website to find some awesome deals this weekend.  Happy Shopping!!!

This is Happy Mail (SS002), along with the sentiment called Holly Jolly (K048).  Who doesn't love to receive happy mail?!?!?!?  and especially at this time of year....

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to Hedgy's nose.  Xmas Red Stickles was used for the holly berries and Frosted Lace Stickles were applied to resemble snow on the top of the mailbox and ground covering.

The image was die cut using a Stitched Rectangle die.  The pattern paper is from Echo Park-Home for the Holidays 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU Chocolate Chip and White cardstock.  For the bow tie on Hedgy, I used a mini gingerbread man die from YNS, that included a bow tie.  The real reason hedgy has a bow tie on, is due to the fact that while I was colouring his tummy I had a little too much water on my brush and ended up paper piecing another tummy on him.  There was a slight line in between his head and body, that I wanted to cover either with a scarf or a bow tie.  When I found the bow tie was going to work, my dilemma was resolved.  I am always looking for creative ways to fix small boo boos like this, as some days things happen that we wish didn't!  LOL!

For the sentiment, I was hoping to create something that looked like a postage stamp.  I remembered I had a SU postage punch, that I don't think I've ever used, so I dug that up.  In order to layer the sentiment, I needed to punch out 4 postage punches and offset them, using Chocolate Chip cardstock to create a bigger postage stamp.  Foam tape was used under the sentiment to add some dimension.  To complete this card, a few clear rhinestones were added above the image and to the lower right side.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 491, N60, 847, 133, 245, 969, 977, 942, N35, and 800.  Versamark Ink Pad, Black Embossing Powder, SU Early Espresso Embossing Powder for sentiment, and SU Chocolate Chip Ink Pad for sponging edges of image and sentiment.

Paper - Echo Park-Home for the Holidays 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Chocolate Chip and White Cardstock.

Misc - Glossy AccentsFrosted Lace Stickles, Xmas Red Stickles, Stitched Rectangle die, YNS-mini gingerbread man die(bow tie), SU Postage Punch, Clear Rhinestones, Sponge Dauber, Water Brush, Foam Tape, and Glue Dots.

Sleigh Ride (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the November Challenge can be found here.  The challenge runs through November 30th.

With the mild weather in Southern Ontario this past week, it is hard to believe Christmas is next month!  I sure hope you have started on your Christmas cards, but if not...I hope the other Diva's cards and this card, may inspire you to get working on them!

This is Sleigh Ride (SS004) and Sm. Christmas Script Sentiment (F051). Such a cute image!!!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to the Snowman's nose, holly berries, and Penguin's feet and beak.  Frosted Lace Stickles were applied to the Penguin's pompom and the snowflake dots on the sleigh.  Gold Stickles were added to the Snowman's hat buckle. A Zig-Wink of Stella clear glitter pen was used for the fur on the Penguin's hat.

The image was fussy cut.  The snow hills were created by using a Paper Smooches die called Stitched.  The tree dies are from Frantic Stamper called Tall Pine Trees. A white ink pad was used to sponge the trees to give it a more of a snowy appearance.  The pattern paper is from Bo Bunny-Dear Santa 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some blue, green, and white cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped with a blue ink pad.  I wanted to keep this card fairly flat so it could be mailed out; therefore, I never used any foam tape--which is quite unusual for me - LOL!  To complete this card, a few blue rhinestones were added to the corners of the card.

Supplies Used:

Ink - Tombow Markers - N15, N35, N75, 245, 985, 847, 856, 992, 977, 533, 535, and 761.  Versamark Ink Pad, Black Embossing Powder, White Ink Pad (sponging trees), and Blue Ink Pad (sentiment).

Paper - Bo Bunny-Dear Santa 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Blue, Green, and White Cardstock.

Misc - Glossy Accents, Frosted Lace Stickles, Gold Stickles, Zig-Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen, Blue Rhinestones, Paper Smooches-Stitched Die, Frantic Stamper-Tall Pine Trees die, Water Brush, and Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!
