Happy Mail (Created by Lisa Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the December Challenge - Christmas/Winter theme can be found here

Happy Boxing Day! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

This is Happy Mail (SS002) and  From All of Us Sentiment (HH004).  Hedgy is so adorable!!!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I applied some Crystal Ice Stickles on the snow covered ground and snow on the mailbox.

The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye-Winter Wonderland 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU marina mist and white cardstock.  The designer paper was die cut using a rectangular die to allow the image to be framed. A SU corner punch was used with the blue cardstock for the corners of the image.  The sentiment was embossed with black embossing powder, then cut using a tag punch.  Red, green and blue markers were used for small dots on the edge of this tag. A small piece of red twine was also added on the tag.  Foam tape was applied to raise the sentiment and to raise the designer paper, to add a bit of dimension.  To complete this card, a blue and white snowflake was punched then layered.  A pearl gem was added to the centre of the snowflake.

Supplies Used:
