Rocking Out-CD/DVD Envelope (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Whoo hoo - it's finally Friday!!!  In case you haven't heard the latest, High Hopes has a BOGO Event that starts today.  If you are looking to add to your stamp collection or get in on the fun, head over and check out this amazing deal!!! The link can be found here. Happy shopping!!!

For today's post, I thought I would try something a little different using some stamps and SVG files from the New Release - Spring 2016 Collection...

This is Rocking Out (TT025), Rocking Out SVG Files (TT025SVG) and Rock On Sentiment (FF005), all on a CD/DVD Envelope!  I thought this may make for a nice gift for someone, or just a handy and cute place to keep your CD/DVD's organized and protected.

To start, I cut the SVG file for this Rocking Out image (using the point 7 file) on watercolour paper. I used a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  The sentiment was also stamped and embossed on a separate piece of watercolour cardstock.  The sentiment was fussy cut and glued on to the front of the drum.  To colour the image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, Glossy Accents was applied on the cymbals and on his pants to resemble a shiny leather-look.

On the CD/DVD envelope, SU Black cardstock was used to die cut out some music notes and to layer the main image (using point 14 SVG File).  To complete the assembly of this envelope, all of the die cuts and image were glued on.

Such a quick and easy project to make!
